Last night in TLC’s special “Kate: Her Story,” in which Kate Gosselin was interviewed by NBC’s Natalie Morales.

When contentions of her husband Jon’s betrayal was initially reported in the tabloids (it seems that rumors had been perched around their town for months before anything was statement in the media), part of me was shocked that a married man with so many kids could do such a thing, whereas at the same time, I felt it was only a affair of time before Jon would get fed up with Kate enfeeble him in just about every episode.

But all through the past few months, Jon has done nothing to fix his status (um, except you want to count his current self-denunciation meeting with Rabbi Shmuley). Not only did he bound into one more relationship right away, but he’s bad mouthed Kate to the journalists, rather you just don’t do to the mom of your (8) kids.

In last night’s TLC interview, Kate was truthful about her life and feelings. She talked about growing up in an austere Christian home and that her relationship with her parents isn’t incredibly good. She admits that her brother Kevin and sister-in-law Jodi whom she was very close with at one time have sold her out to the journalists for funds. She also acknowledged that there were times she didn’t take care of Jon very well.

Natalie did an brilliant job of trying to get at the heart of how the “Wholesome Reality Show” quickly turned into a soap opera and didn’t let Kate get off by far, inquiring how she could on one hand over say that she “wants peace for her children” and that they “ought to have life served to them on a silver platter”, so far puts them and herself in a situation to be hounded by paparazzi and facet on tabloid covers.

Kate responded to that “we did four seasons with no paparazzi.”

Kate revealed that she and Jon “jointly agreed” to end things and that it stopped from the fact that “goals very much altered- his goals changed”. Except did admitted that she still has way of thinking for him.

At that time she broke down a bit and said, “I still imagine the phone will ring one day and it will be the previous Jon.”

When asked if Kate still loves Jon she replied, “Yes. A part of me forever will. I love the memories we have together of the good times”.

In spite of what looks to be a horrible divorce, she is trying to keep away from being negative. “I am looking for to be positive, have honesty, and talk with grace.”

Kate in addition spoke concerning her faith life. When asked if she still goes to cathedral she responded,” We do. We haven’t been for a while although to be honest. It’s a little we all did together.
