Mary Kay Fualaau (previously Mary Kay Letourneau, née Mary Katherine Schmitz), is a former school teacher convicted in 1997 of the constitutional rape of one of her students, a 13-year old schoolboy (Vili Fualaau), with whom she then-married mother of four kids had a longtime extramarital affair all through the boy’s teenage years. She gave birth to two kids by her juvenile lover and the pair married in 2005, after he became an adult and she spent a number of years in prison and divorced her first husband. Her ill repute has turned her into a criterion cultural reference and has spawned a number of TV specials about her. She is also the daughter of former well-known conservative political body, John G. Schmitz whose political profession effectively ended due to his own teacher-student sex scandal, discovered in 1982, when the ex- political science professor confessed to having a longtime, extramarital affair with one of his former college scholars, with whom he had fathered two kids out-of-wedlock.

Mary Kay Letourneau now a mother of 4 children was divorced by her first husband Steve Letourneau in 1999 after a merger of 15 years. The break up was filed after Steve got hold of written communication shared between his wife and her immature lover. But as possessions would turn out, Mary Kay and young Vili got wedded in 2005 next her divorce and serving prison time.

Even though she was convicted, found guilty and sentenced to a jail term of almost seven and a half years in 1997, Mary Kay Letourneau was freed only 6 months later in early 1998 as a consequence of her good deeds. But the law required her to join a 3 year sex offender conduct curriculum and more prominently stay away from her ex lover. She was going back to prison when both she and Vili were found in a car by the police force.

Upon her again freed in mid of ‘04, Mary Kay and Vili got married a year later on. The couple at the present resides in the Seattle suburbs with their two kids — Audrey and Georgia.
