These people are not socialites or social lights, though they are very sociable. Another problem. There is a ruloe that you should never cover up a misdemeanor with a felony. On Tuesday’s Facebook, Mrs. Salahi talks about having been to the White House. On Wednesday she posts that she had been ‘invited’. When she is asked under oath before a grand jury whether she was invited I suggest she tell the truth and say no; though it will assure her conviction on misdemeanors such as simple trespass, that will be better than an indictment and conviction for perjury. Of course she has the right to take the Fifth at all times. As I’m not a lawyer, I strongly suggest she get one, and nothing that I’ve said should be construed to be offering legal advice — just observations.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi are on their way to go camping with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. This should help inflate their notoriety at very little cost to them. Federal Bureau of Prisons camps are actually fun. Read this post by a recent former inmate at the Federal Bureau of Prisons camp at Schuylkill FCI in Minersville, Pennsylvania:
It’s a non-stop party on the taxpayer dollar. Tareq and Michaele Salahi and no one else will try this stunt again.
