CES 2010 kicks off this week and analysts are look forward to the predominant themes to be connectivity and mobility. In the meantime, Google and Apple are both likely to make announcements regarding their upcoming plans this month.

The GOOGLE Nexus One is planned to launch on 5th January, whereas Apple is rumoured to be announcing their tablet device around on 26th January. Dell also expected to launch an Android OS based tablet device; whereas gadget fans will be hoping that Steve Ballmer Microsoft’s chief executive utilizes his keynote speech on Wednesday evening to share further details about the Courier dual-screen tablet devices and e-book reader that Microsoft is rumoured to be presently working on.

The tablet revolution is being focused by the growing ubiquity of wireless internet connections and consumers’ wish to surf the internet and watch videos on devices that are improved than a smart phone but smaller than a conventional laptop.
