A Georgia civil rights veteran General Larry Platt, who became an Internet sensation with an audition on “American Idol,” is taking his talents to the Grammys 2010.
Platt presented his original song “Pants on the Ground” for the judges at the national talent competition; whereas, the 63 years old Platt was far away from the show’s age limit, he still managed to achieve major recognition on the Web.
General’s manager Pinky Brittain confirmed to the Atlanta Journal Constitution that his client will present his song “Pants on the Ground” on the red carpet before the Grammy Awards 2010 on Sunday.
The song is all about to arms against low slung pants; Platt says he and his civil rights colleagues gave up too much for today’s youth to walk around with flabby trousers.
No earlier did we believe that there would be “Pants on the Ground” t-shirts and hats being sold to the public after Platt splashed onto American Idol this season; now he is headed to host the Grammy Award Show set for tonight, original version YouTube version video given below.
