All rumours turned out to be true, when both Elton John and Lady Gaga seen together onstage, as the duo beginning the Grammy Awards telecast with a rocking performances.

Gaga who opened things up and she did it in her own over the top manner; as the screen went up, audience saw a full-scale stage set “The Fame Factory,” an army of dancers and a master of ceremonial, who appears from the crowd to tout Gaga as some kind of living doll and shouting, “The real Gaga comes complete with five, #1 singles and she has no soul”.

Gaga came out again, this time she sharing a piano with John, who was also covered in ashes and the two then began singing Gaga’s “Speechless” trading verses, and glimpses from across the piano, which was crested with severed mannequin arms, also flashing her “monster,” hand sign.

John managed to work in a few verses of “Your Song“, his huge 1970’s hit with songwriter Bernie Taupin and two then segued back into “Speechless,” and wrapped it up smiling, the full house giving them a standing applause.
