The much awaited Raavan movie is all set to release on 18 June 2010 in India. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam casting Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram are the lead characters and Govinda, Ravi Kishan, Nikhil Dwivedi, Priyamani are in supporting roles.

The music is composed by internationally acclaimed Grammy winning Indian musician A.R.Rahman and lyrics by gulzar, no doubt songs of the movie are already proclaimed, listed in chartbusters as the most hit songs.

In London hundreds of fans thronged the British Film Institute in South bank for the premiere Wednesday night, calling out for Abhishek and Aishwarya.

‘We are feeling on top of the world and we are so happy that we came to London to premiere the film’, said Abhishek, who walked the red carpet hand-in-hand with wife. Aishwarya added: we love the fans here… They are out here appreciating our hard work… so it’s time to say “Thank You.”

The movie is going to release in 2200 screens worldwide. The Hindi versions is releasing with 1250 screens and 325 over 35 countries. According to reports, the Tamil version named Ravanan is going to release in 225 screens in India and 150overseas.the film is also dubbed in Telugu as Villain which is releasing with 215 prints and in addition it’s going to rock U.S.A, Australia, and New Zealand in 25 screens.

The overall rating by the experts is given by 3.5/5, as it’s a comeback movie for Aishwarya Rai; need a hit, which she is expecting from this movie. The very good cinematography and action scenes will go to attract the crowd.
