The NASCAR team owner Jack Roush is hospitalized after a plane crash on Tuesday night. Roush, who is an aviation fawn, was flying the plane that skidded off the runway at Wittman Regional Airport although landing at about 6:15pm CDT.
The team owner of NASCAR Roush was in serious but steady condition after walking away from a plane crash in Wisconsin on Tuesday night. Roush is presently under observation for facial injuries continued in the accident, which occurred at Wittman Air Field in Oshkosh, Wisc., where he was presence the Experimental Aircraft Association’s annual Air-Venture.
Roush Fenway Racing president Geoff Smith told that “There are injuries; Possible surgery … But he walked out of the plane”.
The chairman of NASCAR and CEO Brian France stated “on behalf of our industry, our prayers go out to Jack Roush, the Roush Family and Roush Fenway Racing; All of us are looking forward to a full and speedy recovery”.
The National Transportation Safety Board and Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department has definite the 2 occupants on board were Jack Roush of Northville, Mich. and Brenda Strickland of Plymouth, Mich., who each exited the aircraft following the accident. Both were transported to local hospitals, with Roush in severe but stable condition and Strickland with non-life aggressive injuries. The NTSB is leading the investigation into the accident.
