Utah Senate Majority Leader Kevin Garn in a confession video has admitted to paying Cheryl Maher $150000 in hush money; he passed on the confession with the video cameras rolling to a shocked Utah state administration.

After the 2002 sum, the two reportedly had little get in touch with, although Maher would sometimes pop up asking for funds, including a 2007 request that Garn pay for her to travel expenses from her home in New Hampshire to a Utah high school reunion.

Amy Victoria Beck, 33-year-old English and social science teacher is scheduled to be charged Wednesday on four counts of unlawful sex with a teenage, and one count of oral copulation with a male student under 16, reports Contra Costa Times.

David starr Jordan Middle School teacher Amy Beck is scheduled be charged in Burbank Superior Court today.

According to the various reports, Beck walked into Burbank police station Monday afternoon told officers she “had sexual relations with one of her students”.

Police later interrogated the boy who confirmed the teacher’s story saying the encounters occurred between March and September 2009 when he was 14 years.

However, it is vague whether Beck turned herself in because an arrest warrant had been issued or if the guiltiness got to her.
