The latest movie “We Are Family” hit the theater today, it is a very interesting film and Critics have given good reviews to the film. This movie is well acted, deftly written, entertaining and broadly appealing drama. The film starts on an attractive note with appetizing cinematography and aesthetics, and even a storyline that gives you a superior feeling.

The movie “We Are Family” is the story of a family where Maya (played by Kajol) is the great mother of 3 children, Anjali, who is 6-year-old, Aleya, 13 and Ankush, 10, who will give divorce to his husband Aman (played by Arjun Rampal). Maya’s life turns round her 3 children and in spite of her divorce, she makes sure that everything runs efficiently in her house under her care and they persist to stay as a happy family until Aman introduces her girlfriend Shreya (played Kareena Kapoor) to the family.

The concept is even if taken up from a Hollywood hit “Stepmom”, but engages elements of brightness and nice comedy too. Debutant director Siddharth P. Malhotra has done a good job to represent the family drama with light notes and civilized comic and emotional scenes.

The cast and crew of “We Are Family” are: Kajol; Kareena Kapoor; Arjun Rampal; Aanchal Munjal; Nominath Ginsburg; and Diya Sonecha. This film is directed by Sidharth Malhotra and producer is Karan Johar.

Performance of cast is good and deserves big round of applause is some of the scenes. Kajol, as common, is at her best and makes a stunning appearance on the screen. Kareena Kapoor who has played the role of Shreya has also done an outstanding job. Shreya is introduced to the family as the girl friend of Kajol’s divorced husband and brings her to the same house. The film is all about how Shreya is to take over Kajol when she is seriously ill.

This is amazing which made with the classic theme though portrayed to the audience in a modern way in a grave comedy where some scenes will make you cackle and in some you would want to weep. Overall, complete family masala movie. And the experts give the rating of this movie is 3.0/5.
